Description
Ugly is a psycho-dark fairy tale with new mechanics. You will have to swap the main character with his own reflection to solve puzzles, defeat bosses and discover all the secrets in a palace where nothing is what it seems.
History
You will find yourself lost in a desolate place. There you will find a mirror showing a reflection on the other side of the wall. The mirror will define your user experience, allowing you to swap between you and your own reflection. This ability will give you access to know your past self and the perverse place that confines you.
Features
- Alternative endings.
- Squish your space conception. To solve every puzzle, you must change the way you look at the spaces. A new dimension is coming.
- Different ways, same goal. Every player is different, every gameplay is different. Most of Ugly’s puzzles can be solved with different strategies. Furthermore, you can choose the door you are going to open, so you decide.
- 80% logic 20% agility. Yes, they are puzzles. But not it's not all intelligence, you are going to need all your ability to solve the trickiest rooms! Watch out for the hidden rooms!
- One puzzle, one story. What’s behind the door? Each room explains a new piece of the story with a completely different background. Narrative reward: Still want more? Okay, find the hidden piece and you will deserve it!

- Play with the silliest stuff. Bored? Don’t know the answer to one puzzle? Don’t worry, there are papers, marbles, butterflies, birds, bottles, skeletons and tons of objects to play with. Or maybe you could try another room?
- You are not alone. Do you ever feel that presence while being alone at home? Look behind you! I did not move that object.
- Dollhouse effect. Those tiny unexpected rooms, easy to manage on little and big devices. We don’t know why, but there is something adorable about miniatures.
- Unexpected features. Game testers have proven that randomness increases player hype and entertainment, so different rooms have different rules. Ready for a surprise?
- Bosses. Super huge bosses, just this. Watch out.
- And of course, all rooms are crafted with ♥.
